Bridgetown, Barbados
Day 6: Bridgetown, Barbados
We had an afternoon excursion in Barbados, so we spent the morning on the beach. We went to Rockley Beach, hoping for big waves and for Paul to be able to boogie board, because they rent surf boards & boogie boards at this beach. Unfortunately, the waves weren't big enough in the morning. Instead, Paul swam way out by a reef and saw a sea turtle, who he named Larry.
After the beach, we took a 4x4 ride to the Wildlife Reserve, where we saw a feeding of wild green monkeys. It was so cool! Paul actually handed a banana to one. From here, we went to Bathsheba to spend a little time on the beach. There were huge rocks from erosion and it was (again) beautiful. Paul found a vendor with a monkey here, so we both got to hold his monkey and then Paul bought some necklaces from him.
